Hebrew Voices #199 – Are we in the last days?

Do we not recognize Shabbat based on when the sun sets wherever we are? The closer we get to the equator, the earlier in the year we will find ripened crops. Here in Indiana, southern Indiana plants 2 weeks earlier than northern Indiana and can harvest 2 weeks later as we have a longer growing season. The rate of change is about 1 weeks per 100 miles. My Point is this. Barley in Egypt will ripen a couple weeks before barley in Jerusalem, and Jerusalem weeks before Turkey. This, would/could the month of Aviv/Abib/Nisan arrive at different points in the world depending upon how far north one is?

Through the centuries, before modern communication, people , even Jews around the world would not have known the day or time it was in Jerusalem, so would they not have had to depend upon the signs they saw in their given location?

That which applies to Sabbaths, would it not also apply in the various nations concerning annual Holy Days? If we lived in Switzerland 500 years ago, would we have observed the feast days at the EXACT same moment month/time as Israel? No! We would have observed based on when we saw barley ripening locally.

I’m not sure Joseph, if he.lives in Canada is observing moadim at the proper time for his time zone UNLESS, he stayed and observed the weeklong feast in Israel.

MAYBE that is part of God’s reason for males to appear before Him in Jerusalem, so that ALL His chosen observed simultaneously? The problem then occurs that those from around the world in centuries gone by, would not have even known what month ripened barley would be found so to make travel arrangements.

As usual, a lot of over-talking each other and a lot of speculation and conjecture. Hard to follow. Someone once said, “heavy emphasis on the mess in Messianic”, and that is so true. When all of you experts get it all figured out and quit arguing with each other, then perhaps, the rest of us can then join in and “hasten the day of His (Messiah’s) return”! HalleluYAH!!!!

I personally believe the entire “seventy sevens” will be fulfilled in the last days.
1. Temple Mount structures will be destroyed in a Middle East war.
2. The ARK of Moses will be found, when a blast opens the cave where it was hidden.
3. “Command to restore and build,” will come from the UN, following the war.
4. A Tabernacle will be set up on the Mount, which will function with sacrifices, for 3.5 years, until the stone Temple is complete.
5. The “Anointed Ruler” will be the High Priest of that restored Temple.
6. 3.5 years (mid -seven) the Temple stone structure will be complete, but AT THAT POINT the “Evil Prince” will take over the Temple, and “cut off” the anointed High Priest.
5. The Evil Prince of the prophecy will set up “The Abomination of Desolation” IN Temple.
6. 3.5 more years to go, before Messiah shows up to destroy the Evil Prince, and to establish Yehovah’s reign.

This was a great discussion. As for Hosea 14:3, the Jewish scholars who translated the Septuagint evidently read the Hebrew word as “fruit” because that is how they translated it into Greek.

This was interesting and certainly a different take on what the 70 weeks are. Thank you for sharing this.

Have studied end times for many years. Could barely follow what this guy is saying. If he is so sure why did he keep asking Nehemia if he was correct.

So I have been following your findings and this episode is again amazing. I want to know what Aviv calendar to go by I did try and Google it, but so many different ones. I am an old Testament and new Testament believer and follower.

Check out Suspicious Observers on YT for the scientific evidence you are talking about. They have an extensive video list to explain the physical, and solar evidence. I have followed it for many years and they support what you are saying.

Here where I live they plant barley in staggered week gaps so they can harvest it by the field and not the entire season in a few days. You can change aviv by a month just by delaying the planting.

This fellow is very interesting. He has put tons of thought and research into what he says. One of his conclusions matches mine, which came from simple thoughts. That Messiah might be due about 2033.
